Fantastic spot to get your car worked on. I was new to town and heard of Joe’s as a recommendation from a coworker. They explained everything and were very transparent about what needed done and what could wait. They also gave specific evidence of items that needed fixed (like an actual photo of my brake pads). Even had someone take me to work and pick me up to take back to the shop. I’ll be a returning customer for sure. Prices were in line with most other places in town but the customer service put them over the top for me.

First time customer at Joe’s Garage. The onboarding process was as easy as filling out a an appointment form on their website. Staff members were professional and helpful. I had arranged a ride to work so I didn’t need the offered ride, but may take advantage of it in the future. When I picked up the car, Joe advised me on how to monitor the oil level and what to look for on longer trips. All in all a top-notch experience.

I had recently purchased a rebuilt 350 engine and had it installed in my 1964 Impala by another shop. After the overall job was taking too long, I brought the car to Joe’s Garage to tune things up and get it ready for the Function in Junction. After Joe’s had things dialed in, they took the car for a test drive. The motor failed before they got it into 3rd gear. Knowing how bad I wanted my Chevy at the Junction show, Spencer immediately found me a blueprint 350 in Reno and had it delivered to Eugene in no time! Even though they were now starting from scratch, they did everything they could to finish my car before the show. And they did… one day prior! Even staying late to make it happen for me. While driving to the show in Junction, my car was making a little noise in the engine bay. I was stressed I’d have to have it towed back to Eugene. During the show, I ran into Spencer. He told me we should leave the show for a bit and take it for a ride (what a nice guy). He knew right away that it was something simple. In fact, the problem was my own fault. When I installed the inner fenders, one of them was touching the exhaust, causing it to rattle🙃 These guys are hands down the best me

Don’t get me started on how much I do not like this place. Not only did they excessively charge to replace my clutch, I had to take it to another Mechanic to have them fix everything that this place did not do/messed up/didn’t even bother to tighten. Five months later, my Mechanic is still finding things that they were negligent on. And I have pictures to prove all the damage they did to my vehicle. These pictures are what we found last night. Not only did they take this apart, which you don’t have to replace a clutch, they didn’t put a new gasket in and they miss aligned the plates tightening it down causing damage. My truck has just been losing oil and transmission fluid since they worked on it. I got this truck brand-new off the lot, and I know nobody has taken my stuff apart, other than this place. So I know for a fact that they’re the ones that damaged this. As I collect the rest of the photos, I will post them here with my review.

We took an older vehicle to Joe's for a pre-purchase inspection. They were able to fit us in on short notice and provide excellent customer service at all points in the process. Their waiting area is clean and has wifi and there's a great food truck across the street! The end result was a thorough, transparent inspection and a solid, prioritized list of repairs that was helpful for considering and negotiating our purchase. Thanks, Ryan and James!
